Why ?
Informed by DHL, FEDEX and UPS:
From March 1, 2023, all goods passing through or entering (EU), Switzerland and Norway, regardless of the declared value of the goods, must provide a good, complete, detailed description and 8-digit HS code (8-digit according to the HSCODE standard of Hong Kong’s exporting country).
1. HS CODE (Harmonized System code) with at least 6 digits;
2. Accurately declare each product in the goods (including product name description, material and use, etc.);
3. The recipient’s VAT and EORI number (Economic Operator Registration and Identification) shall be provided;
Warm reminder, pay attention to the new regulations of goods exported to the EU:
The EU has made new regulations on all inbound goods invoices:
From March 1, 2023, the EU will directly hold customs in Europe for all goods without HS codes of 6 digits or more in the destination country on the invoice without import declaration.
All customers are requested to provide invoices as required, indicating the 6-digit HS code of the destination country on the invoice. (The first six digits of the current HS code in China are common to Europe)
It is suggested that the goods exported to Europe, the Middle East and Africa should be adjusted on March 1, and the invoice should be written with 6 or more HS codes, so as to adapt to the adjustment in advance and pass the customs more quickly. Thank you. (Economic Operator Registration and Identification)
